Hands-on Experience

The Academy houses the CyberMontana Security Operations Center, a student-operated Security Operations Center (SOC) where Montana’s college and university students gain hands-on experience as SOC analysts. Students learn to monitor network access, analyze threats, and report suspicious activities to authorities, providing both essential security services and invaluable workforce development for Montana's cybersecurity future.
