Cyber STEM Summer Camps

For Middle Schoolers

CySTEM Camps run from May to August across the state to expose Middle School students to a broad range of topics like cryptography, password cracking, artificial intelligence, and geotagging. These camps combine hands-on training and challenges, outdoor activities, and peer-to-peer socialization.

Dual Enrollment

For High School Juniors & Seniors

Advanced high school students are eligible to take college-level courses during their Junior and Senior years. The classes will count toward a certificate or college-level degree program – helping students to accelerate their higher education trajectory. The 1-2-Free Program is a state-wide initiative to make this accessible for students.

PISCES Work-Based Learning

For Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Through PISCES, Missoula College and University of Montana cybersecurity interns & students gain practical skills in SOC operations, meta-data monitoring, threat detection and analysis, and incident response escalation.

Montana University and Community College Programs

Higher Education Students

Connects learners with cybersecurity and IT certificates, degrees, and training opportunities offered by Montana colleges and institutions. Students can explore options that best fit their goals, location, and preferred learning format.

The Policy & Training Academy

For Educators

The Policy and Training Academy delivers key policy-related services to strengthen Montana’s cybersecurity readiness, including Leader Workshops, The Security Operations Cetner, and Enhanced Training Capabilities. Through these integrated programs, the Academy strengthens both institutional cybersecurity readiness and the state's cybersecurity workforce pipeline.

CyberMontana Career Development may include topics such as cybersecurity fundamentals, networking, IT support, risk management, compliance, cloud security, incident response, security awareness, artificial intelligence, and preparation for industry-recognized credentials.
